In 1982, Berlin’s Bergmannstr. 99a became the first headquarters of the publisher Ararat GmbH.  In addition to Turkish literature, the publisher also offered postcards designed by Turkish artists.

With time, other Berlin postcard lines were absorbed into Ararat’s product assortment and it became a goal to offer postcards from around the world.  Thus emerged the Ararat store as we know it today.

The range of products has expanded over the years to include a variety of specialty papers, photo albums, stationery and journals.  The store now also stocks an assortment of the latest trends in giftware, homeware and novelty items, bringing you a vibrant and fun selection of gifts or treats for yourself!

Just across the road, Bergmann Str. 9 hosts Ararat‘s second store that specializes in frames and prints. You‘ll be sure to find the right frame from the wide selection, or we can prepare you something special in our workshop.
